| The Meadow Course at Bay Point is pure country club, the kind of golf course members enjoy playing day after day and visitors return to year after year. Its occasionally tight fairways, numerous bunkers and lakes provide an ever-changing set of challenges.
Boasting 6,913 yards, it has the length to test the best golfer's distance. Even its advanced tees offer challenge as seen in handicap ratings which range from a 73 at the Ladies' Tees to a 73.3 at the Championship tees. There's plenty of challenge here and a consistent demand for length, accuracy and playing strategy.
The Nicklaus Course (formerly Lagoon Legend) was completely redesigned by Gary Nicklaus, son of legendary Jack Nicklaus. The goal was to create a challenging and fun course for players at any level. Measuring 4974 yards from the forward tees and 7152 yards from the back tees, and sporting slope ratings from 123 to 143, this course sticks to the Nicklaus tradition of offering a complete experience for every level of golfer.
Many of the holes require a tee shot over a hazard to get to the fairway or green, but most of the landing areas are very forgiving. Watch out for their signature par 4 fifth hole. Your shot will have to clear two natural marshes (ladies and juniors only have to clear one marsh) and as if that is not enough, you will also have to contend with the wind off the bay!
