Come celebrate America's Independence on the World's Most Beautiful Beaches! Panama City Beach is a proud host of an annual fireworks display at the Dan Russell Pier on July 4th!
If you've not seen fireworks exploding over the calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, then you owe it to yourself to make Panama City Beach your July 4th destination! It is an amazing sight - the lights shimmering and reflecting off the waters of the Gulf as the fireworks burst in air makes them seem dance across the sky and water.
The Dan Russell Pier, also known as the City Pier, is located across the street from Aaron Bessant Park, Panama City Beach's premier festival spot.
Many people rent condos in the area and don't even have to leave their balconies to enjoy a spectacular view. If you are driving and trying to find a place to park, there is usually a large crowd, so arrive early and bring a blanket or lawn chair.
Also, note that many, many people will bring their own fireworks and light them both before and after the city fireworks display. It makes for an incredible effect to see fireworks all up and down the coast as far as the eye can see! One note of caution - people are not all as cautious as they should be, so give some extra space, use caution, and keep a close eye on your kids to ensure a safe and happy holiday for everyone in your group. |
